The City Gardens Club welcomes the scholarship application of any New York City public school teacher who teaches science in the classroom. Pre-K elementary, middle, or high school. The application process is straightforward.
Decide on Workshop Program for which you would like a scholarship
Review descriptions, dates and target grade levels of Workshop Programs. Pick the program that best meets your needs. It is critical that you mark your calendar to ensure your availability for the programs you choose, should you receive a scholarship for one of the programs.
Submit Application and a Recommendation by the deadline (which is different for each workshop)
- Access the application and fill it in online. A link to the application form will be found at the end of these instructions.
- Review the application and submit it by hitting the “submit” button once. You will receive an acknowledgement email shortly after your application is received.
- Request a recommendation from your Principal or Assistant Principal. This letter of recommendation must be sent directly from the recommender’s official DOE email address to [email protected]. You and your recommender will both receive a confirmation email for the recommendation; since this one is sent by humans it may take a bit longer.
Deadline
Both the Application and a Recommendation must be submitted by the deadlines noted.
The City Gardens Club will acknowledge receipt of both your application and recommendation via email. If you do not receive these confirmation emails, please contact us at [email protected].
Scholarship decisions will be made promptly upon receipt of required documents.
